As such, we are committed to taking every precaution to safeguard our customers’ data; whether that’s payment information such as card details or personal information such as email addresses and contact numbers.

Secure Sockets Layer Protection (SSL)

When you purchase online with us, your sensitive information is encrypted and protected with a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This is the industry standard encryption protocol for protecting sensitive information when purchasing online.

To know when you are on a SSL protected page, look to the front of the URL in your browser address window. You may see a small padlock. When the connection is secure, you will see a closed lock. You can click on this padlock to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

Alternatively, instead of a padlock, you may see an icon to simply view site information. When clicking this, a dropdown will appear which in it, also shows a padlock symbol and states if the connection is secure or not.

Another way to tell if a page is secure is by looking for ‘https’ (rather than ‘http’) at the start of the URL in your browser address window.

All of the pages on Rowlinson Garden Products are fully SSL protected; offering the reassurance that, when buying online with us, your information is safe.

It is important to note that, when placing an order online, no person will ever be able to see your complete card details; which arguably makes ordering online safer than ordering instore.

Payment Service Provider (PSP)

Our Payment Service Provider (PSP) is VS Pay powered by Stripe. Stripe is a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Level 1 service provider; the highest certification level available in the payments industry. Stripe's compliance is confirmed annually by an independent PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

Stripe has a number of security measures in place, including regular infrastructure testing, third-party scans, and automatic server replacement. This helps to ensure that their systems are always protected and to offer our customers the necessary reassurance when buying with us online.
